5 Star WR Picks Texas Over LSU, Bama

The rich get even richer on the recruiting trail as Texas landed a commitment from 5 Star WR Jaime Ffrench early Friday. The 6-foot-1, 184 pound product from Jacksonville is ranked in the Top 25 nationally in three of the four major recruiting services, and is listed as the No. 18 overall player in the 2025 cycle according to On3.
Ffrench’s mother is from the Baton Rouge area and attended Southern University.
He becomes the 19th commit for the Longhorn’s 2025 class, and is the third 5 Star to commit to Steve Sarkisian and company in the last month alone. Texas moves up to the No. 6 class overall in the country.
