NEW ORLEANS — If the New Orleans Saints want to draft LSU Tigers offensive lineman Will Campbell, early indications are that he could be off the board before they select at No. 9.

Per Jordan Schultz of NFL on FOX, Campbell is expected to take top-30 visits with multiple teams that select in the top-five of this year’s NFL Draft.

New Orleans could be looking to address their offensive line early in the selection process, and Campbell could be a good selection. He played tackle at the collegiate level, but many have wondered if the league will view him as an interior offensive lineman.

Should the Saints be interested, other clubs with a higher selection could make the lineman feel a bit more out of reach. He answered a lot of questions about his NFL fit at tackle with his Combine measurements where his arm length came in at 32 ⅝ inches, beyond the typical prototype.

New Orleans has two starting tackles they sound comfortable moving forward with in first-round selections Taliese Fuaga at left tackle and Trevor Penning at right tackle. That may put them out of the Campbell sweepstake anyway. However, if they wanted to bolster the position or even move Penning or Campbell inside, they may have a lot of competition to do so.
