Saints bring Isaac Yiadom back on three-year deal

NEW ORLEANS — Free agency results in another reunion for the New Orleans Saints. This time in the secondary.
Per VeynerSports founder A.J. Vaynerchuk, the Saints have signed cornerback Isaac Yiadom to a three-year deal. Yiadom, who spent 2024 with the San Francisco 49ers, returns to New Orleans where he played a portion of 2022 and all of 2023.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reports that the deal is worth $9 million and could reach as high as $10.5 million with $4.86 million guaranteed.

Yiadom was buried on the 49ers depth chart, but made strong impressions and showed excellent composure with the Saints the year before having to step in at boundary corner due to injuries at the position.
With former corner Paulson Adebo headed to the New York Giants, the Saints have an opening on the perimeter should Alontae Taylor return to his role in the slot. Yiadom and second-year cornerback Kool-Aid McKinstry could end up manning the outside for New Orleans.
The Saints could choose to address this position further in the draft and as free agency continues. But even if they don’t, they now have three starting caliber cornerbacks on the roster.
