LSU to host open practice instead of spring game in 2025

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU has announced it will not hold a traditional spring game in 2025, opting instead for an open practice at Tiger Stadium.
The event, scheduled for April 12, will give fans an inside look at the Tigers’ offseason progress. Following the practice, players will participate in an autograph session.
LSU Football confirmed the news on social media, stating, “LSU will host an open practice on April 12 in Tiger Stadium followed by an autograph session for our fans!”

This decision follows a growing trend among college football programs modifying their Spring Game format.
