Armstead spent nine prolific seasons with the Saints before departing for South Beach via free agency in 2022. The former University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff lineman made three consecutive Pro Bowls in New Orleans before landing another pair of all-star nods with the Dolphins. He was also a second-team All-Pro in 2018.
A draft pick by the Saints in 2013, Armstead quickly built a reputation as not only one of the best offensive tackles in football, but also one of the best protectors in Saints franchise history. There’s no doubt that he will soon be a part of the team’s Hall of Fame.
The expectation is that he will move into the media space as his second career gets under way. Armstead is also a musician (by the name of T Stead) who has been releasing music for multiple years as a rapper.
