Happy Masters Sunday. One of the best days of the year. Grab an Arnold Palmer and a nap before Amen Corner and let’s enjoy one of the most beautiful scenes in all of sports. But first, let’s recap how we got here from day three.

Analysts, media, and the players all felt like Saturday was primed for someone to go low. Rory McIlroy obliged. He finished Saturday six under par with a 66. That included going five under in his first five holes and being the first player in Masters history to score a three on each of the first six holes of the course.

Heading into the weekend, only ten of the original 18 players with SEC ties made the cut for the final two rounds. Half of those ten are currently even or under par. With McIlroy at -12 and Bryson DeChambeau at -10, it’s fair to say that only two players are in real contention, Scottie Scheffler from Texas (-5) and Nicolas Echavarria from Arkansas (-4).

Here’s how every player from the SEC finished after day three:

Scottie Scheffler – Texas T6 -5

Nicolas Echavarria – Arkansas T10 -4

Davis Thompson – Georgia T17 -2

Jordan Spieth – Texas T21 -1

Harris English – Georgia T25 E

Bubba Watson – Georgia T30 +1

Davis Riley – Alabama T30 +1

Sam Burns – LSU T37 +3

Brian Harman – Georgia T42 +3

Justin Thomas – Alabama T48 +4
