Alabama LB Justin Jefferson will face a suspension for the first half of the Wisconsin game this Saturday after a targeting ejection. The hit that resulted in targeting was under a lot of scrutiny over social media with many viewers sharing Deboer’s sentiment of the call being wrong. Despite efforts to appeal the hit, Kalen Deboer confirmed the suspension would be upheld by the league.
Jefferson has been outstanding for the Tide so far this season, ranking third on the team in total tackles with 12 including 10 against South Florida in a game where he saw limited action
