Arkansas to Display Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods Logos on Field
09/12/2024
The University of Arkansas, in coordination with Learfield’s Razorback Sports Properties, is proud to announce a landmark sponsorship extension with Tyson Foods and Walmart. The enhanced partnerships make Arkansas one of the first college athletics programs to feature on-field logos during home football games. The agreement underscores Arkansas’ long-standing partnerships with Walmart and Tyson Foods and provides them with an exciting platform to engage Razorback fans.
The Tyson Foods and Walmart logos will debut on each of the 25-yard lines of Frank Broyles Field at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium starting September 14th when the Razorbacks host the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
“We are grateful to our longtime partners Walmart and Tyson Foods for stepping forward once again to support Razorback Athletics and the University of Arkansas,” said Hunter Yurachek, Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics at the University of Arkansas. “Their investment continues to be meaningful in the lives of our 465 Razorback student-athletes and our program. It is only fitting that when fans watch the Hogs play at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, they will be reminded of two Arkansas born success stories that transformed our state and reshaped our world.”
As part of the sponsorship, Tyson Foods and Walmart will gain extensive visibility through their logo’s placement on the field, through television visibility and exposure on social media platforms. Additionally, Walmart and Tyson Foods will leverage opportunities to engage with Razorback fans through exclusive sponsorship activations, events, promotions and content collaboration with student-athletes.
“Walmart is proud to be a longtime supporter of our hometown teams at the University of Arkansas and of programs that give students opportunities to compete at the highest levels of academics, business and sports,” said Doug McMillon, President and CEO, Walmart Inc., “We’re excited to expand the ways in which we stand alongside these talented students.”
“At Tyson Foods, we are deeply committed to supporting students, student-athletes, college sports and our local communities. By investing in college education and athletic programs, we aim to foster growth and talent, ensuring a brighter future for the next generation,” said John Tyson, Chairman of the Board, Tyson Foods.
“This is an opportunity to make a commitment to the Razorback nation and elevate our brand both in Arkansas and to fans across the country,” said Donnie King, President and CEO of Tyson Foods.
