The game was played exactly one month after Bech’s older brother, Tiger Bech, a former Princeton football player, was killed in the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans. After the game, the TCU standout shared an emotional moment on the field with his parents.

Bech, a Lafayette, La., native who began his career at LSU, had a breakout season for the Horned Frogs in 2024. He led the team with career highs in receptions (62), receiving yards (1,034) and touchdowns (9). He continued his climb in Mobile, Ala., with a solid week of practices that earned him the Top WR nod based on a vote of the defensive backs at the Senior Bowl.
