Fisher Hints at Potential Return

During an interview with Peter Burns on ESPN Radio Monday morning, former Florida State and Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher hinted at the idea of wanting to return to coaching as early as next year.

“There’s only so much you can hunt and fish before you want back in,” Fisher said. “I’ll be watching a lot of film this year and see if there the right opportunity for me to get back into it next season.”

No one knows the exact reason this itch started or became one he needed to scratch. It certainly can’t be money. Even in this economy, $76.8 million goes a long way. However, if “Wolf of Wallstreet” taught me anything there’s always some sucker who wants to buy into another Ponzi scheme. If we’re being honest, that’s exactly what Fisher has become in head coaching.
