Flau’jae Johnson announces return to LSU

LSU guard Flau’jae Johnson is returning to LSU for her senior season, she announced on Front Office Sports Wednesday.
“Yes, I’m coming back to LSU,” Johnson said. “I definitely want to win, but I want to make sure I’m being developed to be the player I want to be in the WNBA.”

Johnson previously announced on her podcast why she was foregoing the WNBA Draft. The transfer portal window closed Tuesday.
Johnson earned First Team All-SEC and Third Team All-America honors in her junior season. She started all 34 games she played, averaging a career-high 18.6 points per game. The Tigers were eliminated by UCLA in the Elite Eight, the second consecutive season they fell one game shy of the Final Four.
