Flau’jae Johnson teases ‘major announcement’

Just a day after explaining via her YouTube channel her decision to forego the WNBA Draft and return to LSU for her senior season, Flau’jae teased a ‘major announcement.’

She shared a brief message on her X account saying, “4 out.”

On Instagram, she posted a lengthy message thanking her fans, outgoing teammates and LSU and teasing that an announcement is coming soon.

Johnson earned First Team All-SEC and Third Team All-America honors in her junior season. She started all 34 games she played, averaging a career-high 18.6 points per game. The Tigers were eliminated by UCLA in the Elite Eight, the second consecutive season they fell one game shy of the Final Four.
