Florida to Play Lagway and Mertz at QB

Head coach Billy Napier confirmed Monday that he intends to play two quarterbacksw moving forward.
Senior Graham Mertz and true freshman DJ Lagway will share snaps.
“It’s a blessing to have two really good quarterbacks and certainly one with a ton of experience and one without,” Napier said.
Mertz started the season opener against Miami before exiting the game with a concussion. Lagway started in his place Saturday night versus Samford and amassed over 450 yards passing and three touchdowns
