Former five-star Micah Hudson no longer at Texas A&M

By Chris Marler
Micah Hudson was considered the trophy of Texas A&M’s transfer portal class.
However, just like most other trophies, he no longer resides in College Station.
Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko confirmed Wednesday that the blue-chip recruit is no longer with the Aggie football team. Hudson was a former five-star recruit in the 2024 class and originally signed with Texas Tech out of high school. However, he played sparingly, only having eight catches for 123 yards on the season.
Hudson was a top ten player in the composite rankings for the transfer portal. That window opened in December and has since closed. However, the post spring window will open ten days later next month. Speculation is heavy that Hudson will return to Lubbock and re-renroll at Texas Tech for his sophomore season.
Hudson was the subject of some viral social media “reports” over his apparent NIL demands while in the transfer portal.

Not that it was in any way in question outside of message boards/social media but Mike Elko confirms that former Tech WR Micah Hudson is not with the A&M program.
