Gamecocks could be without Sellers, Sanders for Ole Miss

Teams around the SEC submitted their injury reports ahead of Week 6 games early Wednesday, and South Carolina’s raised a lot of eyebrows as well as concerns from Gamecock fans. Both quarterback LaNorris Sellers and running back Rocket Sanders were listed as questionable for Saturday’s game vs Ole Miss.

This was concerning for a number of reasons, but it’s especially peculiar considering South Carolina is coming off a bye. Both Sellers and Sanders were expected to be fully healthy coming out of the bye week before Ole Miss comes to town this Saturday.

Sellers hasn’t played significant snaps since the first half of the LSU game when he suffered an ankle injury. Both players have combined for nine of South Carolina’s 16 offensive touchdowns this season so far.
