Georgia leads SEC strength of schedule rankings
10/23/2024
There are only 13 days left until Tuesday, November 5th. That’s a day when we as Americans, and college football fans, will do our civic duty and yell at our televisions over numbers and resumés that we adamantly and wholeheartedly disagree with.
No, I’m not talking about the election. I am talking about the first official release of the College Football Playoff Rankings. Resumés for current contenders are starting to be compiled and compared as we gear up for the first edition of the 12-team playoff at the end of this season.
One of the most crucial pieces to every college football contender’s resumé is their strength of schedule. Since ESPN produces the show that releases the rankings, it only makes sense to use the numbers and analytics from their own website to compare and contrast.
