Hailey Van Lith selected by Chicago, reunites with Angel Reese

Hailey Van Lith and Angel Reese are teammates once again. The star players who spent one season together at LSU have been reunited in the WNBA.
Van Lith was selected 11th overall by the Chicago Sky in Monday’s WNBA Draft. The Sky selected Reese with the seventh pick a year ago.
Reese welcomed Van Lith to Chicago with a post on her X account.

When Reese and Van Lith were teammates at LSU for one seasons, the Tigers fell to Iowa in the Elite Eight.
Van Lith left LSU following the season and spent her final year at TCU. She led the Horned Frogs to their first Big 12 regular season title and was named the Big 12 Player of the Year after averaging 17.9 points per game.
Reese was named to the 2024 WNBA All-Rookie Team and was named a WNBA All Star after leading the league in rebounding.
