Instant (Over) Reaction: Texas A&M blasts Mizzou, 41-10

Missouri went to College Station as a top ten team, and the Tigers are leaving Texas with a 31 point loss and a lot more questions than answers for what was thought to potentially be a College Football Playoff team.
One thing that is no longer in question: Texas A&M is still Conner Weigman’s team.
Weigman came into this game completing only 52.3 percent of his passes with wo touchdowns, two interceptions, and a horrid 5.1 yards per attempt. He also had a loss on his resumé and hadn’t played since week two.
I, like many, assumed the Aggies would start and play Marcel Reed who’s been great in Weigman’s absence. He was 3-0 as a starter and on the season had eight touchdowns and zero interceptions. However, Weigman got the start against Missouri, and he absolutely balled out. Weigman ended the game 18-of-22 passing for 309 total yards and led the Aggies to a 41-10 win over a top ten team.
The questions mounted for Missouri as the game went on, as the Tigers found themselves in a 34-0 hole midway through the third quarter. Missouri looked inept throughout a majority of this game, and could never figure out a way to stop the bleeding. They were held to under 80 yards in the first half and gave up over 300 yards to the Aggies. The most concerning part is that this all happened while coming off the bye week. The Tigers were 4-1 off the bye week under Eli Drinkwitz coming into Saturday, but even an extra week of preparation and a Charmin soft September schedule couldn’t help them in College Station.
The Aggies head into their open date soaring while Missouri will search for answers next week at UMass (yes, you read that correctly).
