Lee Sterling’s final score prediction: LSU-South Alabama

Every Thursday during the football season, professional handicapper Lee Sterling of Paramount Sports joins “After Further Review” with Matt Moscona to preview the biggest games of the football weekend. Here is what he had to say about LSU-South Alabama:
“(LSU) has obviously not played up to their potential. Sun Belt road ‘dogs and even sometimes South Alabama themselves have been knows to do their fair share of damage versus Power Four or Power Five home favorites. They’re not going to score 87 like they did two games ago. They’re not going 48 like they did against App State. But they could give (LSU) some problems. This kid Gio Lopez is a dual threat quarterback, and without Harold Perkins, they just keep losing guys. We’re looking at this roster, and it’s just nothing special. They should have come out with more fire in the first half (against UCLA). It’s another tough game, but I could see LSU winning 42-24 and South Alabama covering.”
Lee’s Final Score: 42-24 LSU
