LSU offers Nussmeier’s brother, QB for ’27

Baton Rouge, La. — LSU doled out its second quarterback offer for the class of 2027 in as many days Saturday when they made it official with Colton Nussmeier, the younger brother of LSU starting quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.
The younger Nussmeier is a 6-foot-3, 175 pound sophomore at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas. The On3 Composite ranks him as the third-best quarterback in the class and the 19th overall player at any position. His father, Doug Nussmeier, is a former NFL quarterback and the current quarterbacks coach with the Philadelphia Eagles.
His offer list has grown to double-digits including Ole Miss, Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Wisconsin among others.
On Friday, LSU offered Elijah Haven of the Dunham School in Baton Rouge, the No. 1 quarterback for the class of 2027.
