We’re back with our weekly SEC QB Rankings. Or, as one stranger on Twitter called them last week, “The dumbest f*****g thing I’ve ever seen.” We’re almost through the first month of the season, and we have some huge upcoming conference games. A quick recap of September’s rankings: Jaxson Dart is not human, neither is Payton Thorne (but not in a good way), and Diego Pavia has become chubby Johnny Manziel.

1. Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss

Dart leads the country in passing yards, total yards, yards per attempt, passer rating, QBR, and completions percentage. He’s on pace for over 4800 yards and 45 total touchdowns in the regular season. Also, Ole Miss is outscoring opponents 220-22 so far this season.

2. Garrett Nussmeier, LSU

Nussmeier is second in the country in passing touchdowns with 13 and is completing over 70 percent of his passes. However, what’s been most impressive has been his level of efficiency while throwing the ball over 40 times per game. He’s fourth in the SEC in QBR (84.3) and has thrown only two interceptions despite leading the conference in pass attempts at 160.

3. Jalen Milroe, Alabama

Milroe has the second highest passer rating in the SEC, and his 11.3 yards per attempt is also second in the conference. Through three games he has 14 touchdowns and no interceptions. He’s also scored on multiple passing and rushing touchdowns in each of his first three games and is the first player since 2010 to do so.

4. Carson Beck, UGA

Carson Beck moved up on his bye week. The disrespect this kid gets for being calm, cool, and collected is absurd, because he’s also an absolute killer when the lights shine brightest. Carson Beck has a 14-to-1 touchdown to interception ratio against ranked teams in his career. He’s going to have a field day with a young and inexperienced secondary in Tuscaloosa this weekend.

5. Quinn & Arch

Texas QBs have combined for 17 touchdowns in 4 games. Ewers has the 2nd highest QBR in the SEC and Arch has put up over 500 total yards and at least 50 points in each game he’s had to fill in.

6. Nico Iamaleava, Tennessee

Numbers aren’t as 2022 as Vol fans would like yet, but Nico is commanding arguably the best offense in the country and he’s had to play his toughest opponents away from home.

7. Brady Cook, Mizzou

Brady Cook ranks ninth or worse in the SEC in QBR (71.7), Passer Rating (136.3), and PFF Grade (75.3). He also ranks 15th out of 17 SEC quarterbacks in YPA (7.1), and 16th in yards per play at just 6.52. Not great.

8. Taylen Green, Arkansas

Green has been one of the most fun players in the league so far this season. He’s sometimes careless and turnover prone, but he’s must see television so far. The efficiency stats won’t blow you, but he’s already racked up over 1,200 yards of offense this season and he looks like the second coming of Matt Jones.

9. Diego Pavia, Vandy

Pavia is a one man show accounting for over 70 percent of Vanderbilt’s total offense and has scored eight touchdowns without an interception.

10. Marcel Reed, Texas A&M

Reed has started two games and been about as consistent as Mike Elko could have ever hoped. He’s put up over 260 yards of total offense in each game and totaled five touchdowns with no interceptions. He also ranks fifth in the SEC in QBR.

11. South Carolina

Robby Ashford legacy game! Ashford replaced an injured LaNorris Sellers and had the game of his life throwing for over 200 yards and rushing for another 100. He had three touchdowns and led Carolina to a 50-7 win.

12. Florida

Graham Mertz and DJ Lagway combined for more touchdowns (3) than they did incompletions (2) against Mississippi State. They were tremendous in Starkville. Up next is a bye week and then another must win game against in-state UCF.

13. Not Dillon Gabriel

14. Brock Vandagriff

15. Freshman Idk

16. Hugh Freeze’s scapegoat
