McCoy, Williams questionable for Saints
11/29/2024
NEW ORLEANS —The New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams released this final injury report for Week 13. Both teams will be without at least one piece on their offensive line, and the Saints will be highly anticipating the availability status of their starting center.
Here is the information, with game designations, from Friday’s injury report for both teams.
New Orleans Saints
Out:
G/C Lucas Patrick (Calf)
Questionable:
RB Jamaal Williams (Groin)
C Erik McCoy (Groin)
DL Tanoh Kpassagnon (Achilles)
No Game Designation (Good to go):
LB Pete Werner (Hand)
TE Foster Moreau (Shoulder)
Interim head coach Darren Rizzi said that starting center McCoy will be a game time decision on Sunday. The team will put him through a workout on Saturday to further track his progress.
Without Patrick available to go, the team will again turn to second-year lineman Nick Saldiveri at left guard.
Kpassagnon is working his way back from the Physically Unable to Perform list. There looks to be at least a slight chance that he could make his long-awaited return to the field against the Rams. If nothing else, he could be more likely to make his way back against the New York Giants next week.
Los Angeles Rams
Out:
OL KT Leveston (Ankle)
TE Tyler Higbee (Knee)
Questionable:
OL Alaric Jackson (Foot)
No Game Designation (Good to go):
OL Rob Havenstein (Ankle)
CB Charles Woods (Ankle)
The Rams will be without at least rookie lineman Aleric Leviton who has yet to make his NFL debut after landing on Injured Reserve after suffering an offseason injury.
The designation for Jackson is not certain just yet. But his return to the line could be beneficial for an otherwise patchwork protection unit this season in Los Angeles. The team is set to return Havenstein, however, after he was listed as doubtful last week.
