National Title and Heisman odds updated by BetOnline

The latest national title odds were updated on Monday from BetOnline. While there wasn’t a lot of change on the list, the SEC still remained well represented with seven of the top twelve teams coming from the conference. The top 12 teams remained the same, but there was movement for all teams listed between second and sixth on the list.

For the second straight week UGA’s odds rose this time from +360 to +450. Both Texas and Alabama saw their odds decrease from 5/1 to 4.5/1 and 9/1 to 7.5/1 respectively.

BetOnline also updated their latest Heisman Trophy odds, and several players from the SEC saw significant shifts in their odds. Miami quarterback Cam Ward continues to be the favorite, but three of the top four players are from the SEC.

Names that have recently emerged in the updated rankings include Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and Texas’s Arch Manning. The biggest fallers were Shedeur Sanders from 66/1 to 100/1 as well as Oklahoma quarterback Jackson Arnold who fell completely off the board.
