NIL documentary featuring LSU athletes nominated for Sports Emmy

A documentary focused on LSU athletes navigating the ever-changing Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) space has been nominated for a Sports Emmy.
The Money Game: LSU produced by Amazon Prime Video and released in September 2024 is up for Outstanding Documentary Series. The winner will be announced at a ceremony on May 20.

The six-part series followed six LSU athletes during the 2023-2024 athletic year, including Jayden Daniels who would go on to win the Heisman Trophy that season. Also included were women’s basketball players Angel Reese and Flau’jae Johnson, gymanst Olivia Dunne, sprinter Alia Armstrong and men’s basketball player Trace Young.
