Oklahoma claimed its seventh NCAA women’s gymnastics national championship Saturday, cruising to a win at Dickies Arena. The No. 2-ranked Sooners posted a 198.0125 to outscore UCLA, Utah and Missouri, securing their sixth national title since 2016.
Led by strong performances from Audrey Davis, Addison Fatta, and Faith Torrez, Oklahoma built an early lead with standout routines on balance beam and floor exercise, then held off a late push from UCLA on the final rotation. Coach K.J. Kindler’s program has now reached the championship finals in 11 of the last 12 seasons.
Oklahoma previously won national titles in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2023.
