The Louisiana native was a fast riser up draft boards after a dominant performance during Senior Bowl week and earning game MVP honors. Bech had a breakout season in 2024 with the Horned Frogs, hauling in 62 catches for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns.
Bech started his career at LSU after signing with the Tigers as a four-star prospect out of Lafayette (La.) St. Thomas More. After an impressive freshman season in 2021, Bech saw his role diminish in 2022, catching only 16 passes. After notching only 12 receptions in 2023 during his first season in Fort Worth, he exploded as a senior.
Bech has also faced tragedy during the draft process. His brother, Tiger Bech, was killed in the New Year’s Day attacks in New Orleans.
