Report: Crews Headed to MLB

Dylan Crews is headed to The Show.

According to a report from Grant Paulson of MLB Network, Crews is expected to be called up to make his debut Monday night in Washington against the Yankees.

The former 2023 Golden Spikes Award winner has rapidly ascended the Nationals system. Since his promotion to Triple-A Harrisburg on June 17, Crews has hit .274 with five home runs and 38 RBI in 51 games. He’s swung an especially hot bat this week, collecting nine hits in his last five games.

Crews would become the second 2023 LSU national champion to reach the big leagues, joining fellow all-American Paul Skenes.
