Report: Former Florida WR Pearsall Shot in Robbery

According reports, former Florida wide receiver Ricky Pearsall was shot Saturday afternoon in an attempted robbery in San Francisco.
Mayor London Breed’s office confirmed the news.
Pearsall sustained a bullet wound to the chest and has been listed in stable condition.
The suspect, who is currently in custody, was also injured in a physical altercation, San Francisco police said. Both the suspect and Pearsall were taken to San Francisco General Hospital.
Pearsall was a first round selection of the 49ers in April’s NFL Draft.
Last season in Gainesville, Pearsall led the way for the Gators’ receiving corps, catching 65 passes for 965 yards and four scores.
