Fitch, 60, began his coaching career as a graduate assistant as his alma mater Ohio Wesleyan in 1986. He has made more than a dozen stops during his nearly 40-year career, including South Carolina and Vanderbilt in the SEC prior to LSU. This will be his sixth opportunity as an offensive coordinator.
Meanwhile, LSU graduate assistant Kanan Ray is expected to join Tulane’s staff as assistant offensive line coach, accoring to Matt Zenitz.

Ray was an offensive lineman at Colorado for four seasons before transferring to Tulane for two seasons to finish his career. This was his first season with the Tigers.
Kelly has only lost one member of his full-time on-field staff so far this offseason. Tight Ends coach Slade Nagle left last month to become the offensive coordinator at Houston.
