Ryan Ramcyzk announces retirement

New Orleans Saints right tackle Ryan Ramczyk took to social media Thursday night to announce his retirement from the NFL.
Ramczyk, one of two Saints first-round picks in the 2017 draft, has been battling knee problems and hasn’t played since 2023.

Ramczyk started all 12 games he appeared in in 2023. He was a stalwart on the right side, starting all 101 regular season games he has played in, 98 on the right side, in his seven campaigns and was named to the Associated Press All-Pro team for three consecutive years (2018-20). He joined William Roaf as only the second Saints tackle to be named AP All-Pro three times.
The NFL on Thursday announced that Ramczyk will be in Green Bay for the draft and will announce the Saints’ second day draft picks.
