NEW ORLEANS, LA. – A major swing has finally been taken at one of the New Orleans Saints’ biggest offseason needs.

Monday afternoon, the Saints announced that they have signed former Tennessee Titans starting offensive lineman Dillon Radunz to a one-year deal.

Radunz started 15 games last season at right guard, missing two with a shoulder injury. Now, he’ll have a chance to man the starting left guard role in New Orleans, which was vacated with the departure of last year’s starting lineman Lucas Patrick. Patrick signed with the Cincinnati Bengals last week.

Radunz, who will play his age 27 season in 2025, visited the Saints last week.

The former North Dakota State University lineman surrendered just 23 total pressures in 2024, including six sacks. He was also whistled for five penalties last year.

Working with Saints offensive line coach Brendan Nugent should help to get the best out of Radunz’s game. He was an outstanding draft prospect before entering the league as a second-round draft selection in the 2021 NFL Draft. He will also get the chance to work closely with assistant offensive line coach Jahri Evans, a future Hall of Fame interior offensive lineman.

New Orleans can still choose to invest in their offensive line come the 2025 draft. But at least for now, they have an option to start at what was the biggest and more glaring hole that remained on the roster this offseason.
