Saints to host DT Mason Graham on top-30 visit

NEW ORLEANS, La. — One of the top prospects across this year’s NFL Draft class is on the way to New Orleans for a private visit with the New Orleans Saints.
Per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Saints are set to host Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham on a pre-draft visit in the coming days.
The star interior defender should sit highly on the Saints’ draft board as one of the special talents in this year’s draft. The team likely looks at Graham as a solution for a position still in need of attention when it comes to defensive tackle as well.
New Orleans has added contributors there this offseason, trading for former LSU Tiger Davon Godchaux and signing free agent Jonah Williams. However, the future at the position is worth planning for with veteran Khalen Saunders on a contract year.

Graham finished 2024 with 45 combined tackles, 7 for a loss, 3.5 sacks and a pass batted at the line.
He is a fierce disruptor on the inside, plays with a never-ending motor and is one of the few superstar potential players at the top of this year’s draft class. Adding Graham would be a huge addition for defensive coordinator Brandon Staley, pairing him with defender Bryan Bresee for years to come.
The Saints would be very lucky to see him fall to No. 9. If they end up considering him a player that they can’t leave the draft without, a trade-up might be necessary in order to ensure the team can select him.
