SEC on ABC Theme Song Released

The 2024 season will bring an unbelievable amount of change across the landscape, fabric and identity of college football. If you ask college football fans which changes they’re most angered or emotional about the answer wouldn’t be the transfer portal or conference realignment.
It would be losing the SEC on CBS theme song to the Big Ten.
That’s right. Thanks to television contracts and greed, the song that fans have listened to for a quarter of a century before the biggest games this conference has ever played is no longer a part of the conference. Listen, y’all can have Gary Danielson. But taking our other national anthem away and using it to intro Rutgers @ Purdue is unacceptable. It’s un-American to be honest.
Regardless, the SEC announced Thursday the release of the OFFICIAL new SEC on ABC/ESPN theme song that will play on-air all fall.
The @SEC on ABC franchise will bring back a fan favorite from the early 2000s, revamping the old school @ESPNCFB theme song 🏈🎶
