Ahead of their Thursday Night Football game against the Denver Broncos, the New Orleans Saints announced four roster moves.
Among them, another key contributor will be placed on Injured Reserve.
Wide receiver Rashid Shaheed underwent meniscus surgery on his recently injured knee. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting the results of that surgery will mean the end of Shaheed’s season.

The Saints added wide receiver and return specialist Jermaine Jackson in Shaheed’s stead. Jackson was one of the players high in the team’s return rotation during training camp.
New Orleans will get some more help at wideout with the elevation of Equanimeous St. Brown. Which will be welcome as they will be short at the position while Chris Olave is in concussion protocol. The team also elevated safety Jonathan Abram for the third and final time he is eligible this season.
