Ohio State beat Tennessee, 42-10, in the final game of the first round of the College Football Playoff. The Buckeyes sprinted to a 21-0 first quarter lead and rolled up nearly 500 yards of offense in hammering the Volunteers.
The No. 8 Buckeyes advance to face the top-ranked Oregon Ducks in a quarterfinal matachup at the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day.
