Texas A&M pulled off a coup Saturday morning when four-star safety Rashad Johnson, Jr. flipped his commitment from Georgia to the Aggies, Hayes Fawcett of On3 reported.
Johnson, a 6-foot-2, 190 pound DB from Florida, had been committed to Georgia since July. His other finalists at the time were Louisville and Penn State.
In the On3 Composite, Johnson ranks No. 361 overall and is the 33rd best safety. He’s rated as the 52nd best player in Florida.
Johnson becomes the 21st commitment for Mike Elko’s 2025 class, which is ranked ninth nationally and seventh in the SEC.
