New Orleans Pelicans sign Antonio Reeves

The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that the team has signed rookie guard Antonio Reeves. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Reeves, 6-5, 187, appeared in five games for the Pelicans during NBA 2K25 Summer League in Las Vegas, averaging 11.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals, while shooting .412 from the field and .320 from three-point distance.
In the 2023-24 season at the University of Kentucky, Reeves averaged 20.2 points on .512 shooting, including .447 from three, 4.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Reeves was the SEC’s third-leading scorer, earning All-SEC First Team and All-American Third Team honors, while also being named a finalist for the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award and one of 15 players on the John R. Wooden Award National Ballot. The Chicago, Ill., native was named Southeastern Conference Sixth Man of the Year for the 2022-23 season.
Reeves played five collegiate seasons at Kentucky (two) and Illinois State (three), holding career averages of 15.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.3 assists while shooting .384 from deep and .801 from the foul line.
