Thome commits to Tennessee

Landon Thome became the newest commitment to Tennessee’s baseball program.

Thome is the son of Major League Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Thome who bashed 612 career home runs during his 22-year career. The younger Thome is ranked the No. 5 player in the state of Illinois and No. 352 nationally. He becomes the 12th player to commit to the defending national champions.

Tennessee currently has the second ranked recruiting class in the country behind Stanford but remains atop the SEC for the 2026 cycle.
