Throwback Thursday: Incredible draft day memories

The NFL Draft has become an incredible spectacle over the years. What used tobe a bunch of sweaty schlubs sitting around landline telephones in a Marriott Hotel conference room has become one of the most incredible and memorable days of the sports calendar year in and year out.
Watching people’s dreams come true never gets old. Granted not all of these stories are warm and fuzzy, but my goodness are they memorable. Here are some of my favorite NFL Draft stories and moments.
All gas, no brakes…or parental boundaries
The Laremy Tunsil story will always be the one that stands out to me. Ten years ago, and roughly 17 minutes before the first round started, Tunsil’s life changed forever. And, not in a good way.
Video and pictures of the first round prospect smoking weed went everywhere. Ten years later, a prospect partaking in the devil’s lettuce wouldn’t be that big of a deal, but a decade ago it was massive. The timing, the sensationalism of it, and the story that unfolded were one of the wildest moments in draft history.
