Week 12 AP Poll: SEC makes up half of Top 10
11/17/2024
The week 12 AP Poll has been released with seven SEC teams finding a spot in this week’s top 25. The seven teams is tied for the fewest the conference has had in the weekly poll all season. However, five of those seven teams were ranked in the top ten with all seven being ranked in the top 19.
Ole Miss finds itself ranked one spot behind Georgia despite beating the Bulldogs by 18 just a week ago. Also, it’s beginning to feel like more and more that no matter what South Carolina does the rest of the season, it won’t be enough to make any real dent in the odds against them for postseason play.
The Gamecocks moved up four spots to No. 19 after beating a ranked Missouri team Saturday at home. However, they still find themselves four spots behind a Texas A&M team they beat by 24 points just a few weeks ago.
