Will Campbell selected fourth overall by Patriots

Will Campbell has become the highest drafted LSU offensive lineman in program history.
The New England Patriots selected the all-American tackle with the fourth pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. LSU had not produced a first round pick on the offensive line since Alan Faneca was the 26th overall pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1998.
Campbell started at left tackle for three seasons at LSU. He played 2,553 snaps and only allowed five sacks, three as a true freshman. In 2023-24, he carried a 24-game streak without allowing a single sack.
In 2024, as a junior, he shared the SEC’s Jacobs Blocking Trophy with Kelvin Banks of Texas. He became the LSU’s seventh winner of the award – presented since 1935 – and first since La’el Collins in 2014. Both the AP and SEC coaches named Campbell All-SEC, and he was a consensus all-American.
After three seasons of blocking for some of the most productive offenses in LSU history, Campbell joins New England under first-year head coach Mike Vrabel.
