Xavier Atkins commits to Auburn

Former LSU linebacker Xavier Atkins is headed to Auburn.
Atkins, who hails from Humble, Tx., committed to Hugh Freeze and Auburn Thursday after one season at LSU.
When he signed with the Tigers out of high school, Atkins ranked as the No. 25 linebacker in the class of 2024 by 247sports composite. He played in five games and made three tackles for the LSU defense.
Auburn has now reeled in 10 transfers since the portal opened on December 6.
